Welcome Parents and Families!
I am George P. Kaplanis and I came from Greece to work as a Greek teacher at Plato Academy, Trinity, as I am participating in the International Teacher Exchange Services Program. Married to Despoina E. Giannakelou who also teaches Greek at school, we have two wonderful children: Katerina and Emmanuel. Katerina is 26 years old and a holder of postgraduate degree in Economics, currently working as an economist in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Emmanuel is attending High School at Trinity. |
I've been loving the American culture, language and history since I was even child, so I made the decision to move with Despoina and Emmanuel to the US for 3 years at least to teach Greek to the students of an American school, like Plato Academy, Trinity. Arriving in Tampa, FL for the first time in US in October 2018, my wife and I had the honor to undertake the Greek Department of School and we are very excited at having the opportunity to cooperate with an amazing personnel, as well as with Mrs Harris, the Principal, and with Ms. Paasch, the Vice-Principal. |
